Last week, was our two year anniversary of living in Iowa. It has taken some time to adjust to our new surroundings. Just this week I finally found someone that I feel happy with styling my hair. In Utah, my cousin Heather was my hairstylist. She had set the bar pretty high with my hair looking amazing every time she did it. I have now found a stylist that can style my hair almost as good as Heather. Julia at Salon Aria is amazing. She cut my hair in June and last Saturday I went back to have her color it. She is definitely the best in the Quad Cities. And I should know since I have been to all of the "other" salons (William Wesley, Five Star, etc.) in the area. I am so happy to have finally found her. Salon Aria is an Aveda salon. And I LOVE the smell of their products. But that is an entirely different story. So...what do you think?
Last night everyone from Scrapaganza met at The Picture People to have a group photo taken. These are some shots that we took outside while we were waiting to look at our pictures. Say "Hi!" to Megan and Candi. I love working with these gals....
I really like it. I haven't found anyone to cut my hair here either. I went to someone about six months ago and when I came home Zac said, "I thought you were getting your hair cut?" He couldn't tell and I couldn't tell. Talk about frustrating. I am on the lookout for someone great here in Hawaii.
ReplyDeleteJoy - That is EXACTLY what was happening to me! Craig would be like..."Did you pay for that cut?" It was so frustrating...good luck with your search....I think that this was the final piece in feeling like we have made a home here in Iowa!
ReplyDeleteYou do look gorgeous!!!! Thanks for the chat yesterday!
ReplyDeleteVery cute Kim! Glad you found someone you are happy with. That is such a frustrating process.
ReplyDeleteIt's soooo cute Kim!!! Love the cut and the color. Don't you just feel like a million bucks when someone that know's what they are doing... get's done doing your hair! I wish I could be there to celebrate with you!
ReplyDeleteP.S. you always look great though, no matter what!
I die every time you tell me about not getting your hair cut since June. AHHHHH! So not good. You know me and hair. Every three months, cut and color. One day I'll get to come out and do your hair. Joy if you need me to come to Hawaii that will be no problem either. Ha! Ha!
ReplyDeleteLove your hair Kim!!
ReplyDeleteI have just the opposit problem. I find someone that can cut my hair and then they move to another state and I got to start all over.
ReplyDeleteNot just any barber can do FLATTops as you know.
I love your hair Kim You look GREAT!
I have always thought your hair was great, you know that, my friend. This cut and color are marvelous...and it's important that you love it...but never forget, it's what's inside that counts... that's what makes you glow and shine! A good "do" never hurts, though!! Also, while I'm writing a book here, I'm glad it's your 2 year anniversary. I am so blessed to have a new friend like you!
ReplyDeletei love it kim!!! the color looks so good, glad you finally found someone!
