Christian's Piano Recital

Christian's Captive Audience

Last week Christian had his piano recital. His teacher, Jaime, held the recital at a retirement center. All of the people that attended loved all of the songs! It was the best audience! Christian played three songs: Take Me Out To The Ball Game, This Land Is Your Land, and Firefly. He did a great job and is really progressing at the piano. He always tells me that he love playing and going to his lessons, but he HATES PRACTICING! Sound familiar to anyone?

Sydnee's Preschool Graduation

Sydnee had her preschool graduation last Thursday. She is going to really miss Chatterbox Preschool and Mrs. Robin and Mrs. Mary. They are the perfect preschool teachers who love the kids and love what they do.
To watch the video you will have to pause the playlist at the bottom of the screen and tilt your head to the side...I am still new at recording videos!

One video wasn't enough for her...

Thank you Grandma!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa

We got the box yesterday and had to wait until Christian got home to open it! Of course it was mayhem when all the stuff just started flying out of the box. Chocolates, gummy pizzas, dresses, swimsuits, hats, maps, etc....What fun. Here is a little video of Ella. (Before you push play, go to the bottom of my blog and push 'pause' on the playlist so you the music won't be playing while Ella is showing her manners.) Enjoy!

Here She Is...

Yesterday was the second hardest day since our move to Iowa. MY SIL, Linzi, had her baby. I just want to hold this little thing! I have really been thinking about jumping in the car and driving I-80 for 17 hours. Really, I have. It wouldn't be as hard as you think if you got to hold this little one at the end of the road. London Tye Garner. Beautiful baby...

Remember This Picture?

I didn't! Our nice neighbor, John, downloaded our files and pictures from the old, mammoth computer. I was searching through all of my 3,296 photos from the old hard drive and found this! This is a picture of my good, good, friend, Rochelle, and Lisa Bearnson. I did meet her about 6 years ago at a scrapbook expo. I was pregnant with Sydnee and wanted her to sign my belly. (I never had the guts to ask her to do it though.) I was so amazed at how real of a person she was. It was amazing to just chat with her for 15-20 minutes and have her sign our current Creating Keepsakes magazine. Just thought you would enjoy this blast from the past! Also, this is Rochelle's first picture on my blog. She is a friend that I have known since high school, through college, marriage, children, parenting, etc. She is the best! Hey, Ro, how are ya?

I hope to see you all there!
**Edited** Mom - don't look too close at this album, since I made it for you!

Camera is Working....Thanks to Ella

Ever since my sisters were here, my camera has not been shooting pictures. This morning, Ella climbed up on the counter and was taking some photos. Later, I went to delete the pictures, because previously they had only been black blobs. But there were actual pictures! It is working! Maybe it just needed some rest and relaxation since I do work it very hard every day trying to document my life and my kids' lives. I don't know, but I am happy! Off to take some more photos...
P.S. Ella had a haircut yesterday....isn't it cute?
