Friday was the last day of school. To celebrate, we went to the Drive In Theatre on Hwy 61. It was the perfect night for the drive-in. We were there right when the gate opened at 6:30, and had the perfect spot! The kids played on the swings, in the sandbox, frisbee, catch, etc; and we just relaxed and ate Subway sandwiches. Our friends', The Baldwins and The Poocks {we missed you Ben!}, came with us. We also had yummy chocolate chip cookies....oh the movie! I almost forgot that we saw a movie. Prince Caspian was enjoyed by all....but I think everyone had more fun before the movie even started :). We will definitely go back again this summer!
Sounds like so much fun! O love the swings too :), will post a picture for you in my blog to prove it! I posted the whole album from my class, check it out. Did you receive the last e-mail I sent you? Love, Débora
ReplyDeleteWe had so much fun too! Parker loved all of the open space to play in and explore. The movie was good but, it was fun chatting and laughing and playing before it started!! Love your pictures!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like so much fun! We miss you!
ReplyDeleteOh my looks like FUN at the Garner Family Household!!! LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gritty night!!! We used to have 3 drive-in's here in the valley and now they are all gone. The only one left that I know of is the one on Redwood and that's not exactly close.. after looking at your fun pic.s though, I think it may be worth making a special trip to the drive-in.
