Book Club

Have I told you that I love reading? I have always been a reader. It all started when my older sister went to Kindergarten and learned to read. She came home and taught me to read when I was 4...I haven't stopped. Right now I have too many books that are on my list. I saw this picture in a magazine and had to post it, especially since my camera is being fixed and I can't take any cute pictures. This inspired me...I would love to have this many books to decorate my house with. And I could make this display to keep track of my book club. We are having our 10th anniversary this year. There are thirteen woman, thirteen amazing women. Well, I am getting off the subject...what are you reading right now?
Eat, Pray, Love
New Moon, then Eclipse
On the list:
Left To Tell
The Silver Donkey (Christian and I are going to read this together)
A Thousand Splendid Suns

  1. Now that's a dang gritty picture!

Hey, what was the name of that book that we saw a preview for the upcoming movie for? The "something" Sister? I want to read it.

  2. Oh my. I have a library, and a library ladder and good intensions, but I can't read. OK, it's not that I can't READ, it's just that I don't have the patience to sit still that long. Since you like to read, could we get together and you could read to me?

    It's just a thought.

  5. The Other Boelyn Girl! Love it!!! Cute idea for a library. I'm so glad that both of us have that love for books. It's so true when it says if you love to read and read all the time, your children will also. Mine love to read.

  6. I love to read as well. I'm in two mother-daughter book clubs--one with each of my girls. I'll have to tell you about them sometime. Ever read any Jan Karon books? I just finished her latest. Fun books. You can borrow from my library any time!

  7. I just finished A Thousand Splendid Suns. An excellent book. It made me laugh, cry, and most of all think. I am one of those people who is at the library every week picking up new books. I hardly ever by books unless I read them first and really like it.This one is definentally one I will add to my personal library.
