Christian says to Mom...

Mom has told Christian several times that if he ate one more peanut butter and honey sandwich that he is going to turn into a peanut butter and honey sandwich. Today Christian said to Mom:

"Mom, you're going to turn into a scrapbook."

{I guess I have been scrapping a little too much lately.}

Happy Birthday Linzi!

Today is my sister-in-law and friend's birthday. Linzi is like, licorice or pumpkin lotion, I can never get enough of her! She is always the life of the party! She is also someone that I talk to almost every day about kids, husbands, life, or just absolutely nothing.

Although we are family, she is a close friend that I am just lucky to have as a sister also. Don't you just love those two top photos?? The first one is when Linzi entered a dance contest at a Scrapbook Convention and won!! The second, is with our common friend, Rachel, at Chili's celebrating Linzi's dance contest win!

I know that we are miles apart, but there are many days that I feel genuinely close to you. Like you are just next door, and at any moment I could come over to chat and let our kids play. I know that this has never been for us, but maybe some day it will be that way.

I found this card catalog maker over on http://www.blyberg.net/card-generator/ Aren't they just so cool? It makes it kind of fun to make your grocery list, which is something that I like to do, but then hate to go to the grocery store! Oh well, happy Thursday!
P.S. Our March really came in like a lion. Last night I had Ella and Christian up with all the thunder and lightning! Hopefully, that means that it will go out like a lamb. Sandee is coming on the 20th and we are praying for good flying weather. I still am amazed by Iowa weather. Less than 72 hours ago, we were in the middle of a blizzard and now it is raining, lightning, and thunder. I guess that should be familiar, with my family's nickname for me...but that is another post. Maybe tomorrow.....
