Starburst Tutorial with Epiphany Shape Studio Pennant Tool

Hi Everyone! Thanks for stopping by this Monday morning. I have a little tutorial today. Over the weekend, I was creating with my Epiphany Studio Tools and created a fun new embellishment.  It is quick & easy, and an easy, new way to use any type of pennant punch. You will need:

Epiphany Shape Studio Pennant Tool {or any other type of pennant punch}
Epiphany Vintage Setting {or a large button}
6 Small glue dots {I used Thermo Web Memory Zots}
1 Medium or Large glue dot {also by Thermo Web}
4 x 6 patterned paper scrap

Punch 6 pennants from patterned paper.
Attach 1 small glue dot to the end of each pennant, and attach it to the back of the EC Vintage setting {or large button}.
Continue to add the other 5 pennants to the back of the setting with the small glue dots.
Finish by adding a medium glue dot to the entire setting to attach it to your project.
I also added a small round EC setting to the middle of the vintage setting. If you use a large button for the center of your starburst, you will not need to add this small embellishment.
After I made the startbursts, I also starting punching small circles & scallop circles with the EC Shape Studio Circle tools. I also arranged these on the back of the vintage settings to create a few different embellishments.

I am sure if you play around with your punches for just a little bit you will be inspired to create a new embellishment from just a few scraps of paper. {The above starburst was created with an EC Shape Studio Circle tool, with the ends of the circle folded in to show the backside of the patterned paper.}
Have your ever created a fun & new embellishment using a tool in a new way? Tell me about it! And have a great Monday!
