There are no words to describe my feelings as I walked 'America's Most Historical Square Mile'...{well, there are many words: gratitude, reverence, humility, respect, honor, etc.}
So I was quiet
and took pictures.

"I am determined to be cheerful and happy in whatever situation I may find myself. For I have learned that the greater part of our misery or unhappiness is determined not by our circumstance but by our disposition."
Martha Washington

  1. Great pictures, Kim! I was so sad I wasn't able to see this last year when I was there!

  2. Love the pictures of old Philly. That was one my favorite places I've ever visited... There is so much to see there. It offers such a true sense of history and those who have gone before us. It's amazing.

    I told Andres about the trip with you guys and the the boys and he thought it sounded great! We'll have to plan it. : ) Oh and I talked to my sister and it looks like she is not going to be coming now in the fall, she's going to do it in the spring instead, so we'll most likely plan on coming somewhere around mid-October so we can utilize those fall break days off of school on the 15 & 16th. Let me know what you think!

  3. Try Boston next,...same emotions. Really amazing!

  4. Looks like you're putting that new camera to good use!
