Me: "I forgot my camera!"
E: "You can just pretend to take pictures."
Luckily, we saw a friend at the zoo and I asked her to snap a picture of the two of us together so we could remember this spontaneous outing. To tell the story straight, I saw this friend and we chatted for awhile, I thought about asking her to take our picture with her camera, but didn't want to sound dumb. Then Ella wanted to get going in her adventure alone at the zoo, so we said goodbye and walked to another exhibit.I kept thinking about asking our friend to take a picture, but then kept putting it out of my mind. We then walked back to where my friend was and another friend was there! We talked again, and I thought again about the picture. Finally, I just went ahead and asked her. And I am so glad that I did! Look at this snapshot....
Just before our ride on the carousel started, Ella turned and whispered to me: "You are my most favorite girl in the world." I had to ask her again what she said.....
Then I was glad that we forgot about all that needed to get done today, and we went to the zoo.
Yes, life DOES seem perfect on blogs.
Ella also asked me if we could buy a goat today. She said that she would keep it in a cage in her room. With the way her room looks right now, it seems a goat has been living there for weeks!
{Thanks Christina!}

ReplyDeletewow what a great picture. That little Ella is so dang funny, I think her and Kirsten are 2 peeds in a pod. Can't wait to see you guys soon!
ReplyDeleteThat can't possibly be my Ella that I took care of in the hospital! How big they get! I think you should get her a goat, maybe her room would get clean, cuz the goat would eat the junk. Let me know if it works, cuz Emma could use the assitance, although hers is such a mess, we might need more than one!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I think that life does look perfect on blogs! But I also think that blogs make us look at our life in a different way, and enjoy these little things! Beautiful picture, it should be on a scrapbook page! :) Love, Débora
