Watching David Herzog's Marionettes...this was one of my many, many favorite moments....where I just stopped and watched my kids. They were learning and loving every minute of it!
Navy Pier Rides

Sydnee at the Shedd Aquarium: "Mom, do starfish have eyes?"

Ella in the pool: "Hmmmmmmmmmmm....." {Yes, Ella in the 4 ft. deep pool!}

At the Field Museum, Sydnee exclaimed: "I just want to get lost and look at things!"

Christian at Adler Planetarium: "Sweet!"

...And Christian after his 1st taxi ride he thought we should experience a 2nd: "Why don't we just grab a taxi?"

There are so many other things about our weekend that I want to remember.....but I have been so busy! The greatest part of our weekend was of course, being together as a family; but also for Craig and I it was seeing our kids just soak in all of these cool museums & learning experiences. I just can't tell you how many times the lightbulb above their heads would light up. Craig and I would just look at each other and smile.

And to hear them laugh until they had to take a deep breath...that was cool too...
