Sunshine On My Shoulders

Maybe it is the Spring weather, or just enjoying some songs from my childhood; but I have always LOVED John Denver! I love his simple tunes....

These are three of my favorite songs that have been made into children's books. The pictures in each of them are beautiful! One of the songs that brings back most of the memories is:

We sang this in elementary school and I also loved when JD sang this with the Muppets! So, so good...you can find the books here, here, and here

They are all illustrated by Christopher Canyon. Cool.

I also have a connection to JD because for many, many years...this guy looked like him. Everyone use to say: "Your dad looks like John Denver." Wouldn't you say so? Now he has a flat top....so not so much.

I know that your mom always taught you to be a leader and not a follower....but I have found this the easiest way to read all my favorite blogs. If I follow them on my dashboard, then I know when they have updated and don't have to check back everyday....{do you think I have a blog addiction....nope not admitting it here *wink*}

Get Happy

This is my class that I taught last Saturday at Scrapaganza. It was so much fun! Everyone's creative vibes were shakin'! And I had a guy in my class {that is always awesome!} I am teaching it again tonight! It is at 5 pm. It is filled with bright, fun, spring-like color. Call Scrapaganza if you are interested.....and don't forget to GET HAPPY!

Too Much Done?

Have you ever gone to a scrapbooking crop and found yourself getting too much done? Do you come home thinking, "Man, I just ran out of photos to scrap tonight!"
This never happens.

Right?

Well, on Saturday night, I cropped. I didn't run out of photos, and I didn't get 'too much done', but I did feel like my creative mojo was on fire! These are the layouts that I completed......whew!
